Our Ministry
MERO PROJECTS
(Making
Everyday
Realities
Opportunities)
For many in the Holy Land, one reality of life is the lack of
everyday necessities, such as food and clothing. MERO projects
provide a tangible way to show the love of Jesus through relief and
social service projects. We work through established ministries
already in place in the Holy Land to provide this help.
"LIGHT TO ISRAEL" TOURS
A tour to Israel with a difference - not only will you see the land but you
will have an opportunity to do a service project.

Middle East Ministries is provides a way for Christians, through practical
hands-on service, to help those in need in Israel. Those
going will have to bring their "grubbys" because they may be doing some
minor repairs on a widow's apartment and then finish up by giving the
apartment a new paint job. Others may be doing repairs on an old
building leased by a group doing ministry in the land. Others may even
help a local ministry reach out to the poor of the Holy Land.

SPECIAL PROJECTS
Often we receive requests to help
needy folks in Israel and the West Bank. These are not long-term
assistance requests but requests to help people through an immediate
need. A father of a Palestinian family in Bethlehem has been out of
work for months because his permit to work in Jerusalem has been
revoked. A Christian Lebanese family has just entered Israel with
only the clothes on their backs escaping possible death at the hands
of extremists in their homeland. A single women discovers she is
pregnant. She has no place to live as her parents have disowned her
and she is unemployed.
We have set a special fund to provide
assistance using our network of ministries to channel the help.
You can help us show the love of
Jesus to these needy people.

SUPPORTED MINISTRIES
Middle East Ministries raises and
provides regular support to individuals doing effective ministry in
Israel. Our leadership team believes sometimes it is best to
support those already doing ministry instead of sending someone who
needs to learn the language and culture before they can effectively
minister to the people. Often those who are doing effective
work are hindered by the lack of funds and resources to do the work.
This results in much time spent in deputation and being away from
the ministry. Our desire is to come along side of these
special servants of the Lord and support their work. We will
go to the churches and ask our ministry friends to give in order to
raise the support.
If you would like more information on
our "supported" team, we would be glad to provide it.

DISCIPLESHIP AND EVANGELISM
Our ultimate desire is to show that Jesus is the Promised Messiah
and that He has provided the way whereby mankind can be reconciled
to God and to each other. We believe evangelism in the Holy Land
will only be as effective as the maturity of the believers living
there. To that end, we desire to see effective discipleship.
One of our "supported" team staff is working among Israeli and Arab
believing women. Helping them see their true relationship with
Jesus and with one another. One of our leadership team has a
burden to train believing men to be Godly men. The goal is to make
disciples who show forth the love of Jesus.
Our work is not limited to the Holy
Land. For example, one of our team pastors a Messianic
congregation in Chicago and conducts several outreaching Bible
Studies.

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS
Through our educational programs Middle East Ministries provides
speakers, literature and other resources to help the church
understand God's concern for the peoples of the Middle East. We
believe as Christians understand the heritage of our faith and the
prophetic future of the Middle East, they will be moved to help and
truly engage with the people in that part of the world. The staff of
Middle East Ministries is available to bring special messages on
prophecy and the Jewish roots of our faith.
